I knew today was my birthday. I did not know that it would bring with it a new child. But what a great gift! My two beloved children (only beloved when gifting) managed to sponsor an orphan elephant for me at the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust. And so, here I am, the new foster parent of Mukkoka, an adorable rescued baby elephant. The jury is still out on whether he will take over the title of favourite.
